Leadership Databank

Are you looking for a place to develop skills and networks that you can use to help strengthen your state or community? The South is home to more than 500 state and community-based leadership programs that are a good starting point for many Southerners that want to get more involved in community issues. The Council on the Southern Community is exploring ways to connect these programs and alumni. As detailed in the 2003 Report on the Future of the South, Reinventing the Wheel, a leadership network would be a strong step forward in beginning a regional conversation on shared issues and concerns, in identifying best practices, and in recruiting more and diverse leaders. Click on the state name in the “Member States” menu to find more information about state-based leadership programs or search the category Leadership Databank.
